Gabby Guo is going to share the experience as a science fiction translator and the joys and sorrows of science fiction translation. Guo has translated award-winning science fictions Neuromancer, Inherit the Stars, and The Hidden Girl and Other Stories.

Translations include Some Fun by Antonya Nelson (孤獨癖), The Violent Century by Lavie Tidhar (狂暴年代), The Giants Novels trilogy by James Hogan (星辰繼承者三部曲), Neuromancer by William Gibson (神經喚術士) and The Stormlight Archives: Rhythm of War by Brandon Sanderson (颶光典籍第四部：戰爭節奏).
The lecture is held in collaboration with the Chinese-English Translation and Interpretation Program, Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures, National Taiwan University.
